    As a Carpenter for RAM Construction Services, you will assist in the revitalization and construction of our surrounding areas. A Carpenter will perform a variety of tasks that aid in both the completion and success of a project and assistance of team members. To perform this position sufficiently, the employee must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. The descriptions below are representative of, but not limited to, the duties and details of this position.


    For employment with RAM Construction Services, an employee must be able to pass our standard drug test.  Our company drug testing policy is in accordance with MUST, DOT and Federal guidelines. Therefore, marijuana, while it may be legal in the state of Michigan, is not a permissible drug per our policy.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Prepare the layout of a project
    • Work with blueprints or instructions from Supervisor
    • Work on top of, ladders, and scaffolding
    • Build concrete forms
    • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

    Education, Experience & Qualifications

    • This position requires a minimum education level of High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
    • A minimum of 2 years’ experience is required.
    • The employee is required to have reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License- a valid CDL A is a plus.


    Travel is required for this position; the employee must be willing to travel to surrounding job sites and other Midwest offices. RAM will compensate a per diem for travel and overnight stay if applicable.

    Work Environment

    As a Carpenter for RAM, the employee will be subject to various work environments. Work environments may include but are not limited to the following: seasonal temperatures, high spaces, small spaces, loud and frequent noises, standing/walking for up to 12 hours a day, indoor/outdoor settings, areas close to traffic.
