As a New Work Foreman for RAM Construction Services, you will assist in the revitalization and construction of our surrounding areas. A New Work Foreman will perform a variety of tasks that aid in both the completion and success of a project and assistance of team members. To perform this position sufficiently, the employee must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. The descriptions below are representative of, but not limited to, the duties and details of this position

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Installing various waterproofing and sealant products, with exceptional quality, in a safe and productive manner.
  • Be equipped with necessary hand tools to perform installation of products.
  • Coordinating work efforts with others to ensure safety, production, and quality on projects.
  • Responsible for building positive relationships with contractors, inspectors and fellow subcontractors.
  • Forecasting materials, tools, equipment, as well as necessary crew size, to meet project schedules.
  • Ability to read and understand plans and specifications for a project, as well as communicate this information to others.
  • Reporting progress and other required information to your Superintendent.
  • Lifting objects or materials weighing 60+ pounds and using hand tools and small power tools.

Performing other relevant duties as assigned and assisting crew members in their performance

Education, Experience & Qualifications

  • This position requires a minimum education level of High School Diploma or GED equivalent and working knowledge of e-mailing and computers.
  • Prior relevant experience, in a Foreperson capacity, is required.
  • Employee is required to have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.


Travel availability is encouraged for this position, though it is not required.  Out-of-town projects typically require a commitment to complete the project, within reason.   RAM will provide accommodations and a fixed per diem reimbursement, when applicable.

Work Environment

As a New Work Foreman for RAM, the employee will be subject to various work environments. Work environments may include but are not limited to the following: seasonal temperatures, high spaces, small spaces, loud and frequent noises, standing/walking for up to 12 hours a day, indoor/outdoor settings, areas close to traffic. You will be provided the necessary means to manage these environments safely.
